the explotion of you and me

[part one]
if i could see past
the stars in your eyes
to the depths of space
in your mind,
i'd be shattered

[part two]

astronauts defy gravity
and laws of possibility to
analize places no human should
ever see; stars are enigmatic
from light years away, and only
explosions of carbon from close.
[my bad luck ruined the mystery,
and i learned the hard way that
some things are better off unknown,
unsaid, undead.]

[part three]

rockets are like our love;
bound to explode as soon as
gravity pulls us too close together;
well, if i may,
i'd like to say
that i've never looked forward
to exploding more.

[part four]

a stumbling engine and a broken
window pull us off our feet and
we're dancing in the stars.
[there's a whole new meaning to
'breathless' when i'm around you.]

[part five]

there's no oxygen here
but it's okay, because i'm
breathing you in
[hold me and pull me in
i'll be your satellite,
make me your star
and i'll hold you while
the sun explodes].
